Annual Memorial Day Mass 2025

Today on as the nation celebrated Memorial Day, Corpus Christi Catholic Parish, St. Peter’s Catholic Church, and St. Patrick Catholic Church came together to celebrate their annual outdoor Memorial Day Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Council Bluffs. However, with the rainy weather and temperatures in the 50s, the annual Mass had to be moved indoors to Corpus Christi Catholic Church where many parishioners and community members gathered reverently to honor the deceased. The solemn Mass was a moving tribute to those who have gone before us, especially veterans and loved ones buried in the cemetery. Their faithful presence was a testament to the enduring respect and remembrance held in their hearts.
