All Souls' Mass: A Sacred Gathering of Prayer and Remembrance

Though the skies were gray and the chill of November lingered, hearts were warm and prayerful as our community gathered for Mass for all the soul of the departed. Originally planned to take place at the St. Joseph altar in the cemetery, the celebration was moved indoors to St. Peter’s Catholic Church due to the cold winds and rain.

Despite the change in location, the spirit remained deeply rooted in remembrance. Families and friends came together to pray for all who rest in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, and for the souls of the departed throughout our parishes and the world. The flicker of candles and the solemn beauty of the liturgy offered comfort and hope—reminding us that in Christ, life is not ended but merely changed.

Though the weather kept us from gathering at the gravesides, the prayerful spirit of the cemetery was very much present within the walls of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

We give thanks to all who attended and helped make this celebration of faith and remembrance so meaningful. May perpetual light shine upon all the faithful departed, and may they rest in peace. Amen.
